La Rosa Chicken & Grill

La Rosa was founded on July 5, 1994 by Vincenzo Pugliese in Marlboro, New Jersey.

Being an avid health and fitness enthusiast, Vincenzo’s dream was to start a restaurant that would not only offer a casual and friendly atmosphere, but also serve old-world recipes made with only the freshest of ingredients.

Word quickly spread, and people couldn’t get enough of La Rosa’s signature rotisserie chicken and homemade side dishes. Vincenzo’s idea slowly and steadily grew from one to six successful locations across New Jersey.

To maintain the quality of the food and consistency of taste, La Rosa established a central commissary in its Tinton Falls location to keep store-level food preparations at a minimum and to help to maintain food costs.

Prospective buyers clamored to own their own La Rosa Chicken & Grill, but it wasn’t until 2016 that Vincenzo sold his first franchise in Staten Island after he created a system – a blueprint, if you will – that seamlessly helps franchisees successfully run their own La Rosa Chicken & Grill.

La Rosa is now a multi-franchise food chain with 11 restaurants operating across New Jersey and New York.
